Buffed

The Artwork I created for Light Grey Art Lab’s Show Color Anthropology. An Exhibition how color had shaped the World. The name of the color ‚Buff‘ refers to the protective clothing of historical warriors. The undyed Buffalo Leather was their only protection against another’s blade or fire. Furthermore, the undyed Buffalo Leather doesn’t draw too much attention. ‚Buff‘ is a color favored by nature to camouflage not only humans but also animals from the enquiring eye. Therefore, it’s an advantage or a protection in hunting. Some animals can even merge with their surroundings and disappear.
